Boy, did we have fun or what! About the only thing that didn't cooperate was my camera, so all of these pictures are very generously provided by Mark Gilliland of Aroo! Photography. Bobbing for Wieners was a huge success, particularly with those of the Labrador persuasion, although we found that Huskies don't need much encouragement to get the job done either. We played musical chairs and did a cakewalk, and performed many tricks for different treats. The Rally Boys defeated their many challengers in the Kibble Relay, and everyone had a good time cleaning up after that one! Thanks to everyone who came, to Becky & Andrea for having the idea, and to the Be, Julia, Bev K, Nancy, Shawn, Scott, and the Chattanooga Chomp Flyball Team for working so hard to make it happen. And, of course, to all the wonderful dogs who traded a scary night at home for a somewhat confusing night out! <g> Plus we raised $130 for the Animal Care and Adoption Center. OK, it's not going to buy a wing, but every little bit helps! | |
