Daycare Photo Journal
March 2011:
We started the month with winter colds, and we're ending it with spring
allergies. Given the choice, I'll go with green on the trees, but
Tennessee is hard, hard, hard on these old sinuses. We've had a busy few
months, though. Fixed up the roof just in time for a
tornado to drop down and muck it all up again. Got us a new sign out
front - this one lights up at night, and we can post (very short)
messages on it. We REALLY wanted the digital message board, but just
couldn't find our way to forking over another $10 grand for it. Still,
the reviews have been positive, and the poor old sign really had given
up the ghost. We upgraded our fire monitoring and alarm system, and
installed a new surveillance system. We're always astonished at the
number of people who drive up during the very few hours that we're
actually closed, so we want to make sure our boarding guests have
excellent security, even when they're snoozing. We held a flyball
tournament, obedience seminar, temperament test, and two agility trials.
All that on top of our daily visitors stopping by for daycare,
boarding, and training classes. You know what's funny? No offence to the
very kind volunteers at
SCORE,
but when they said a dog business in Chattanooga just wouldn't fly,
well, it seems they were just a tad off the mark! Thanks to everyone for
all of your support, assistance, and affirmation. And remember,
Allegra is now OTC
