Daycare Photo Journal
June 2009:
June as been a busy month at PDX. We've had birthdays and anniversaries,
we've celebrated landmark accomplishments (yay
for PDQ - flyball Onyx!) and survived our first burglary. Angie's friend, Lynnette, is back stripping carpet and
painting the hallways. Nancy is hanging wallpaper, and Angie is building
door facings where none have been before. And one of the most noticeable
improvements is the debut of The Gardens @ PDX, courtesy of the
talented, hardworking, and dehydrated folks at Reedy Landscaping (aka,
Dixie's mom & dad). Now, I'm not much of a flora person, and any plant
left in my care is doomed to a slow death by ignorance and neglect, but
I do know art when I see it, and these folks have created art right in
our front yard. The colors! The patterns! The fusion of beauty and
philosophy... well, maybe that's a step too far, but take a look at our
stunning new landscaping over on the right, and I think you'll agree
that the good folks at Reedy Landscaping are all that and a bag of
