Well, everything's back to normal after the big
Christmas...oh, excuse me, holiday festivities. I think everyone
on the PDX staff gained their full allotment of holiday poundage (and
then some!), but oh me, oh my, was it SO GOOD!! The tables overflowed
with cakes & candies, fruits & fudge, cookies and pastries and homemade
delicacies from all the important food groups: sugar, butter, and salt.
It was actually overwhelming, and the gift cards, ornaments, candles,
bath salts, and other gifts were just so very appreciated. We never know
what to say about the truly remarkable gifts that people bring. It's a
little embarrassing, really. We get to take only the best, healthiest,
and happiest dogs and love on them all day. Since they're dogs, they
always return far more love than any human can give, so we're already
feeling pretty good about our grindstone. Still, it's nice to be so
